Engagement Process

How Redwood Core scopes, delivers, and closes profitability analysis engagements—from first call to final presentation.

Every engagement follows a defined path so you know what happens at each stage, what we need from your team, and when decisions land on your desk.

Stage 1 — Scoping Call (Week 0)

A forty-five minute conversation with a senior consultant. We learn your revenue structure, number of locations, the decision driving the engagement, and your timeline. You receive a written scope proposal within three business days. No fee for this stage.

Stage 2 — Data Handover (Week 1)

You appoint an internal finance contact. We provide a data checklist tailored to your business model—P&L extracts, cost centre reports, inventory or job costing exports, and org charts showing who owns each cost category.

Stage 3 — Field & Interview (Weeks 2–3)

Consultants visit production, warehouse, or branch sites and interview department heads. We observe how costs are incurred, not only how they are coded in the ledger. Remote clients outside Taiwan receive structured video interviews instead.

Stage 4 — Draft Review (Week 4)

Preliminary findings memo shared with your finance lead. You correct factual errors and add context we cannot see from documents alone. This checkpoint prevents surprises in the final presentation.

Stage 5 — Final Delivery (Weeks 5–6)

Completed profitability map, ranked action list, and leadership presentation. We stay for questions until your team agrees on next steps—even when those steps do not involve further work with us.

After the Engagement

We offer optional quarterly check-in calls for six months to review progress on agreed actions. These are billed separately and only if you find them useful.
